DESCRIPTION:1. Info on Team Managers  \nEvery school’s controlling body shall appoint an official Team Manager. Training of team managers will be done by Schools Cycling SA. Schools can have more than one team manager but only one will be authorized to communicate with the event organisers. \nThe team manager is the only person that is allowed to handle pupils’ information; to comply with the POPI act. \n4. Categories Please take note each category will be capped at 200 \n\nSub-junior Boys & Girls 13-14\nYouth 15 Boys & Girls\nYouth 16 Boys & Girls\nJunior 17 Boys & Girls\nJunior 18/19 Boys & Girls\n\n5. Terms & Conditions \nRaces cancelled due to bad weather will not be refunded. \nEvents will be run under School Cycling SA’s rules. \nNo show\, no refunds \nNo payment\, no result \nRefunds will be at organisers discretion \nLate entries no seeding \n6. Seeding \n\nSeeding will be based on the accumulative points from all the events in the Cycle Lab MTB Schools Series.\nSeeded riders will enjoy grid position according to their seeding. Seeding list will be communicated in the week leading up to the event.\nSub Juniors riders seeding will be based on previous year’s Primary School series.\n\n 7. Affiliation to School Cycling SA: \nThe events in the Cycle Lab MTB School Series have been sanctioned by Schools Cycling SA via the Gauteng School Affiliates: \n9. Prizes & Winners Jerseys. \n\nGold Medal For first place in all age categories for both boys and girls.\nSilver Medal For second place in all age categories for both boys and girls.\nBronze Medal For third place in all age categories for both boys and girls.\nWinners jerseys will be awarded to the series points leaders at the end of each race weekend for each age category. For top placed boy and girl for all categories.\nPoints will count towards provincial selection and qualification for Cycle Lab National Finals.\nFinisher medals will only be given to participants that finished all 5 events.\nPrizegiving for each category will be after each race.
